Integrate innovation

To integrate design-driven innovation for SME competitiveness into the operational programmes of partner countries/regions and consequently for SMEs to benefit from the policy instruments for design.

Take action

Develop projects and design action plans to build capacity for design-driven innovation and technology in the SME sector.

Identify best practices

Identify best practice and processes by implementing design thinking mechanisms, and integrate support instruments into the operational programmes.

Engage policy-makers

To better inform evidence-based policy-making, by monitoring the impact and evaluate effectiveness of implemented mechanisms during multi-annual monitoring phases. We are working towards ambitious targets.

The CREATE priority aims to promote innovation in entrepreneurship and start-ups through a range of measures including financial support such as innovation vouchers as well as non-financial support such as mentoring.
Design innovative and competitive business models and verify them through planned activities such as analysis of users practises and behaviour, deferral of grid investments, exploitation user group and dedicated workshops to enable monetary and social benefits for a full chain of stakeholders.
